This Privacy Policy explains how PAULGA ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use PAULGA Studio (the desktop app and this website). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
Information we collect
- Account — your name and email address, provided when you sign in (e.g. via Google).
- Usage & billing — app version, and metered usage such as credits spent and Workshare storage used, so we can apply your plan.
- Support & guide — questions you send to the in-app guide chat, with an anonymous session id to group a conversation.
- Payment — payments are processed by our merchant of record. We receive confirmation of your subscription, but we do not store your card or bank details.
Your CAD files and models are yours. The desktop app is local-first; files you share through Workshare are stored only to provide that feature.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and secure the service and your account.
- To meter usage and manage subscriptions and render-page allowances.
- To answer support requests and improve the product.
Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, improvement, preventing abuse), and with your consent where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — our merchant of record for payments, and infrastructure/hosting providers — under agreements that limit their use to providing those services.
International transfers
PAULGA is based in the Republic of Korea. If you use the service from another country, your data may be transferred to and processed in Korea and by our processors, with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email paulga.support@gmail.com.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
